It’s My Park Day at Glick Park

This “It’s My Park” season, volunteer with Alliance for Kips Bay to mulch, weed, trim, plant, and clean up at Glick Park. We look forward to cleaning up the park with you!

Location: Glick Park at the East River Esplanade at 36th street
Time date: Saturdays, from 9:30am to 12pm

We’ll be supplying tools. But we recommend bringing your own work gloves and dress like you’re ready to garden!

Friends of East River Esplanade Dog Run

Welcome to the neighborhood’s first dog run!

Location: East River Esplanade between 38th and 39th street
Design: NYC Parks Department
Status: up and running and looking for volunteers

Help spread the word of a new dog run coming in!

Volunteer
- Sign up to keep our dog run clean
  - Sweep and clear the grounds
  - Help fill the baggy stations
  - Notify the AllKB team if any repairs need to be done
Communication
- Reach out to Council member Keith Powers and show your support
- Reach out to Assembly member Harvey Epstein and show your support
- Express your interests within the local community board 6 and email them

Open Streets at East 36th Street

Open Streets opens a street closed to traffic so we can enjoy car-free activities. We need all the help we can get to help plan, coordinate, and build programs for the whole neighborhood!
