  1. Hi Molly,

This is a great idea. However I would like to state that people break in destroy the place. In addition, there has been two crimes under there. Is there anyway you can lock the underpass after sunset?

  2. Darren and Molly,
Years ago it was gated sunset to sunrise. For a time when crime was high it was gated off all day. The two assaults within a week have alarmed everyone. One was at 3:30 in the afternoon and the other at 5:00 am! At night this underpass is a drug haven.

Painting is a lovely idea and a good start but without proper lighting, police protection, or other safe guards set in place, it will not cure the current situation.

Can we get the city to set up cameras? Have the ferry companies set up daytime security? What can we do?
